Cancellation And Refund Policy on Service
At Prestigious Business Consulting Sdn Bhd (Company No. 151971W / 201501026647)(collectively referred to as “Prestigious,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to providing transparent and professional service practices.
As our services involve professional consultation, government submissions, and administrative coordination with multiple authorities, this policy outlines the eligibility, conditions, and limitations related to cancellations and refunds.
1. Eligibility for Cancellation or Refund
1.1 Refund eligibility applies only to cases where:

The client has made an advance payment, and no administrative, consultation, or application work has commenced; and

No payment has been made to any government or regulatory authority on behalf of the client.
1.2 Once consultation, document preparation, or coordination work has begun, or authority fees have been paid, no refund shall be applicable under any circumstance.
1.3 Any refund, if applicable, will be considered only upon Prestigious’s written approval, and will be subject to deductions for administrative charges (if any).
1.4 Definition of “Commencement of Work”
1.4.1 For the purposes of this Policy, “commencement of work” shall include, without limitation:
- Review or processing of client documents;
- Preparation or drafting of any forms, submissions, or letters;
- Advisory or compliance consultation;
- Communication or coordination with government agencies or third parties; and
- Allocation of internal staff or administrative resources to the client’s matter.
2. Authority Fees
2.1 All payments made to government or regulatory authorities are strictly non-refundable once payment has been made or an application has been submitted.
2.2 Prestigious acts solely as a facilitator for these payments, which are remitted directly to the relevant authorities on behalf of the client.
2.3 As these payments are made to third-party government entities, Prestigious has no control over refund processes, and no refund can be issued once payment is made.
3. Service Fees
3.1 The initial 50% payment collected upon confirmation of engagement constitutes the Administrative and Consultation Fee, covering advisory, coordination, documentation, and processing work.
3.2 This initial payment is strictly non-refundable once received, as administrative and consultation work commence immediately upon engagement.
3.3 The remaining 50% balance represents the completion fee and is payable upon approval, completion of service, or upon mutual agreement, as stated in the quotation or proposal.
3.4 Where the full service fee has been paid upfront, a refund (if applicable) may only be considered if no administrative or consultation work has commenced, subject to Prestigious’s written approval.
3.5 All professional service fees are deemed fully earned once work has commenced, representing the time, effort, and resources allocated to the Client’s case.
4. Cancellation Requests
4.1 All cancellation requests must be made in writing to finance.department@prestigious.my within five (5) working days from the date of engagement or before submission to the relevant authority, whichever is earlier.
4.2 Requests submitted after government payments or application submissions will not be eligible for any refund.
5. External Dependencies
5.1 Clients acknowledge that the outcome of applications and approvals rests solely with government or regulatory authorities and is beyond the control of Prestigious.
5.2 Therefore, any rejection, delay, or change in policy or regulation does not constitute grounds for a refund of either service fees or authority fees.
6. Refund Processing
6.1 If a refund is approved (under the conditions stated above), it will be processed within fourteen (14) working days from the date of written approval by Prestigious.
6.2 Refunds will be made via bank transfer or any other method deemed appropriate by Prestigious.
7. Policy Acknowledgment
7.1 By engaging Prestigious’s services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
7.2 We reserve the right to modify, amend, vary, change, replace and/or update this Policy at any time as we deem fit, without prior notice to you.
